BJ Schonberg

Fascinated with mid-20th century art and drawing from memories of her childhood in a quaint New Jersey town, artist BJ Schonberg creates original works in a variety of authentic vintage styles. Schonberg Sign Art represents her growing portfolio of diner-era advertising images with historically accurate themes, colors, lettering styles, and messages. Her keen portrayal of historic advertising has often caused the Schonberg Sign Art portfolio to be mistaken for reproduction sign art from the 1940's and '50's. BJ's fun sense of humor, also typical of vintage sign advertising, is evident in both her wording and image design.

Schonberg Naughty Signs is the result of BJ's "off-hours", when her imagination gets a little out of hand. We hope you enjoy these hilarious signs and illustrations.

A graduate of the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, BJ Schonberg has been creating original artwork from her Southwest Virginia studio since 1983.
